“Reeling” (poem)

1 min read

“I feel like the world’s going on and I’m reeling.

I can’t sing.

There’s something alone.

My dad long gone.

How can I hold on?

Shaman in the dark.

Once a shaman locked up.

But now I’m dancing.

I can walk like me.

I’m standing.

Epilepsie?”

“Alice in Wonderland.

Plant in the window.

I put it there for you.

I’m dieting not much.

Wearing my Nick Cave t-shirt.

Pick up sticks &

Leaves and stuff.

Go home to my ghetto lair.

where it hurts.

More things in the window.

Glass not tinted.

Crucifix next to my bed on a chain.

Jewish prayer books under my bed.

Religious opportunistic junkie.

Diet Coke.

faeries.

& cigarettes.

Trying to have no regrets.

Trying to stay alive.

Mushroom powder coffee to thrive!”
